Infectious diseases of the female genital organs remain one of the most important issues in modern gynecology to this day.
According to experts from the World Health Organization (WHO), the situation related to infectious diseases of the female genital organs is a consequence of insufficient scientific development of the issue, as well as differences in methodological approaches.
In this regard, WHO has proposed a scientific research program “Human Reproduction”, the main focus of which is the study of factors that negatively affect reproductive health and cause infertility.
Key words: infectious process, female genital organs, female.
